Future Perfect Continuous Tense - When and How to use the Future Perfect Continuous Tense 






We use  the Future Perfect Continuous Tense 


  • if we want to 'stress on'/ emphasize how long something has been going on by a certain time in the future

By 2018 we will have been living together for twelve years. 


What is the structure?


It's a future tense so use 'will' It's a perfect tense so use 'have + verb in the third (participle) form

It's a continuous tense so use 'to be + verb + ing'


Let's put all together : will have been + verb + ing



In positive sentences e.g 'We will have been living together.' You can ask and deny with 'will' so will you have been living together…?' and 'You won't have been living together.'?
